Medical, Dental, and Vision
Novellus provides employees and their families with medical coverage to protect them from the high cost of medical care. Our U.S. medical plans offer several options. All employees are eligible for our PPO plans, which give access to quality health care providers and hospitals within the network. Employees also have the choice of receiving benefits from providers and hospitals outside the network. In addition, certain U.S. locations have access to local HMOs as an option.
Our dental plan helps employees maintain good dental health. Employees have the option of seeking care from a network or non-network dentist.
Our vision plan is designed to cover most non-medical eye care such as contact lenses and eyeglasses.
Life Insurance and Accidental Death/Dismemberment Insurance
Novellus provides financial security for family or other beneficiaries in case of death.
Employee Assistance Program
Everyone faces difficult personal challenges at different times in their lives. Recognizing this, Novellus offers employees and their dependents confidential assistance through an outside organization that provides five free sessions per incident per family member, offering referrals to counseling, parenting and child care resources, older adult services, and career management. Our Employee Assistance Program also offers legal referrals.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Novellus provides employees with the opportunity to save pre-tax dollars in a health care spending account and/or a dependent care spending account. Employees can use these accounts to pay for qualified services during the year, which can result in overall tax savings.
401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
Novellus employees are immediately eligible to participate in our retirement savings plan, a simple and convenient way to chart your own course to a better financial future. Our 401(k) retirement plan allows employees to make regular contributions from their pay on a pre-tax basis. Employees may invest the money in any of the funds available: savings accumulate, tax-deferred, as long as they are left in the plan.
Personal Time Off/Sabbatical
Novellus provides employees with paid time off (PTO), holiday pay, and a paid five week sabbatical after five years of service, and every five years thereafter.
Educational Assistance
Novellus promotes its employees based on their knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs). To assist employees in advancing their careers, the company offers tuition reimbursement to those who are pursuing degrees in majors related to the company’s efforts, such as engineering or business.
Pre-Tax Transportation Program
Through this program, employees can set aside money from their paychecks on a pre-tax basis to pay the cost of commuting to work on mass transit and in qualified vanpools, and to pay for parking at or near work or the mass transit facility.
